Innovation Refunds secured 25,000 square feet of office space at the Wells Fargo Center in downtown Miami.

A financial services company that specializes in obtaining federal employee retention credit tax refunds for companies will open a 25,000-square-foot office in downtown Miami.
West Des Moines, Iowa-based Innovation Refunds will build out the penthouse of the 47-story Wells Fargo Center, at 333 S.E. Second Ave., in the next nine to 12 months, CEO Howard Makler said.
The new office will employ between 50 and 60 people in business development roles, as well as a "few executive roles." Makler said he will be among the executives working in that office, along with board Chairman Jeffrey Schoonover, President Skip Smith and CFO Chad Sinclair.
"Innovation Refunds' largest office will continue to be Des Moines, Iowa," he said. "The Miami office represents a subset of this team, including me and several executive leaders working together to develop a future product roadmap beyond our core ERC business."
